Custom Tables Our tables are hand-crafted from premium Appalachian woods and occasionally exotics. An experienced craftsman works each piece from start to finish, carefully selecting and matching the wood for each specific table. Shown here are tables we have made, some in 'standard' sizes and others to client specifications. We can modify most dimensions, so please ask if you desire a table not shown.
In a production shop, color matching may be accomplished by staining, dyeing, or bleaching the wood. In contrast, we pay careful attention to grain pattern and color variations of each board.
The result? All of the parts work together to create a harmonious whole, and the character of the wood is allowed to shine. Harvest Tables Sometimes called a farm table, this is a classic design in traditional materials such as Cherry, Walnut, Quartersawn Sycamore, Quartersawn White Oak, Ash, and Chestnut. Several Options are available, including benches and a drawer. Harvest Tables have a additional page with more pictures and prices. Dining Tables If you are interested in a more formal look than a harvest table, note the Boat-top Dining Table designed in a relaxed contemporary style, and the Bent-lamination Dining Table. Dining Tables have a separate page. Conference Tables Fine handcrafted Conference Tables for large log homes, lodges, corporate offices, hotels and resorts can be made. Small Tables End tables, night stands, hall tables, coffee tables and corner tables. Small Tables have a separate page. Wood Selection Please be patient while we add photos of the other native woods we have available for tables. In addition to color differences, note that grain pattern and sawing techniques influence the appearance of the different species.
